Rural Hospital Equipment and Supplies

The application window for this program is now closed.

Overview

Access to safe and reliable health care is the foundation of community well-being. In the past year, the financial position of many rural hospitals has been challenged by inflation, labor shortages, supply chain disruption, and other financial strains, making it difficult to purchase needed equipment and supplies. The Patterson Family Foundation understands the ongoing challenges nonprofit rural hospitals face in order to provide the best care and services for their communities. As in past years, we remain eager to identify opportunities to support rural providers with the necessary tools and equipment they need to do their jobs.

Patterson Family Foundation is proud to launch a grant opportunity for nonprofit rural hospitals in our catchment. This program will financially assist with the purchase of medical equipment and/or supplies that providers require to improve the safety and level of care provided.
Our goal with this grant is to support rural-serving providers and health care professionals in purchasing needed equipment and supplies to care for patients within their hospitals and communities. As a result, nonprofit rural hospitals must be located in the Foundation’s catchment.

Applications will be received from August 7 to August 31, 2023. Read on for more details.
